What a week! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving :)
For those who are curious, I enjoyed a nice Guatemalan dinner with a
part member family we've been teaching. I did miss the
usual....layered jello, deviled eggs, Aunt Maureen's turkey and
potatoes, and of course...Moms world famous rolls. It was all great though, so
I can't complain!
The week has been a hectic one, that's for sure. There's another
companionship of Hermanas that live a few minutes away from us...one
of the Hnas went home for medical reasons on Tuesday- so we've been in
a trio, covering both areas. More work is always great. Twice the
eating appointments? Not always so great. We're surviving though :)
Still meeting with Edwardo. This man just keeps getting better and
better. Tuesday we taught the Plan of Salvation. He informed us that he only has 1GB of memory in his head, and he really just wants to fill it with stuff on baptism and how he can get to that point. You could say that our lesson on Friday, about The Gospel of Christ, was just what the man wanted. The picture I attached is a little message he sent us midweek.
Bless his heart. He said that he's been reading and meditating about the things we gave him to study (repentance) and knows that what the Book of Mormon says is true. Oh. And he informed us that his old habit of smoking more than a pack a day has gotten down to maybe one cigarette a day (he said this on Friday), and that he'd probably be completely done with smoking by this week. We haven't even taught the man about the Word of Wisdom!! #AlreadyOnTopOfIt
Such a good week! It's hard to believe that transfer time will be here next week.
Hope you all have a great one!
Love you all lots!!
