Hola, Familia y Amigos!
WHAT A WEEK. Real talk, this has been the craziest, roughest, most spiritual week ever. It's weird experiencing such highs and lows. Did I mention it's been long too? Waking up at 6:30 and working ALL day is great. Ha, no sarcasm there. Not much to say, except that I'm learning to love my time here. I felt like "jumping the fence" the first two days - but no worries, my companion has me on a tight leash. Haha - no jumping here.
My Spanish is coming along....nicely? I've officially learned how to pray and testify in Spanish- which is a good feeling. If you ever feel that your prayers are in vain repetition - try saying them in a different language. Hermana Smith and I have taught two lessons now - both were a little rough. Still not sure how they expect us to teach in Spanish on the second day, when our vocab is VERY limited. Disregarding my own strength and wholely relying on the Lord is something I've been trying extremely hard to do. I often think of little Audrey..."no, by MYSELF". That's how I often feel.
We had an awesome devotional yesterday - the speaker's name was Stephen _______. He's in charge of the church's missionary program and also took part in writing Preach My Gospel. He was hilarious and said EVERYTHING I needed to hear.
I've been stretched like no other this week. But it's getting better. Love you all! Thanks for the support!
